 The
goal of the Life-Span Planning and Career Guildance
Center is to promote the idea of life-span planning
and help students to understand themselves and plan
for their own lives. To achieve this goal, this
center provides a selective course called Career
Planning to assist students in understanding the
meaning and value of a job, as well as helping them
to plan their own lives. Besides opening the course,
various lectures and counseling workshops related
to students planning of their future lives will
be held on campus. Also students will have individual
counseling, when they need help. This center offers
lifespan planning education to the universities
and colleges around south region of Taiwan.
In order to assist students in having better preparation
to fit the society's needs before they enter the
job market and reduce the anxiety of finding a job
before they graduate, this center provides sufficient
information of job market, including bulletins of
government agencies, medicare institutions, and
industrial companies, etc. For those who would like
to extend their study to graduate school, this center
provides information of overseas and domestic universities
and gradate schools.
This center also offers training programs for students
to strengthen their interpersonal relation-ships,
abilities of writing resumes and interview skills
through individual and group counseling. |
